When do we stop playing?

Why play isn’t just for early years: a seminar with Emma Pinnock

We often imagine play happens in a place of security and comfort. But for some children play involves risk. As children mature, they discover that the “learning zone” is often outside of their comfort zone. No wonder they push the boundaries and dance with danger. Emma Pinnock unpacks play in the context of a whole lifetime. We may consider ourselves too old for play but our actions show otherwise.
