Golden Lane Campus brought together a children’s centre, a primary and a special needs school. As well as knitting these three functions together in one building, the challenge was that the staff came together from different settings. Part of the team-building activity was a day spent at Robertsbridge planning the centre with many of the staff.

Roomscapes furniture is used to divide up the stay and play area. Area rugs allow for maximum flexibility when it's time to change the room around.

The modern architecture welcomes you in while the wooden furniture adds the “home feel” that children love.

The block room, a special feature at Golden Lane Campus, gives plenty of space for large and small construction.

Art supplies are at the children’s level to enable creativity to flourish.

The crèche is not a big room but the furniture creates boundaries between activity areas. The wet/creative area is on the right.

The Welcome centre furniture provides space for a name by each hook and a pocket for artwork and notices for parents to take home.

A Roomscapes window-panel is a great way to divide the room for activities. Who’s making all that noise?
