Drawing of furniture items are available in 2-D AutoCAD 2000 DWG format.  The drawings can be downloaded individually by selecting from the list below, or you can download the entire library as a single file.

Introduction for use in AutoCAD

• From within AutoCAD use the “ Insert Block” command and browse to this site or to your downloaded files.
• Convert from imperial to metric scale (25.4) in model view.
• All the blocks contain the layers “I-Furn-CP” for the item geometry, and “I-Furn-CP-Text” for the text, so that the layer manager can control object visibility.
• All the blocks are 2D lines, arcs, polylines, and Mtext.
• Each block has attributes for a room number (you will be asked for input as the blocks are inserted) and a catalogue number so that the AutoCAD attribute extraction can make a listing of all Community Playthings items sorted by room number.
• In general the insertion point for blocks is the bottom left corner of the block.
