May Basket
In May children will love this little craft. Print out the simple pattern below or just make your own by drawing around a small paper plate (about 8-10" in diameter). Colour it brightly with crayons or markers. Cut out the circle and cut in to the centre. Overlap the cut sides to make a cone shape and stick it together with a bit of glue. Fringe the top as shown with scissors if you like. Glue on a 10-inch paper strip for a handle and it’s finished. If you want the flowers to stay fresh, use a tiny zip-lock bag to stick them in. Add a little water and close it up around the flower stems before placing it in the basket.
