The length of each wooden block unit is exactly twice the width, which is exactly twice the thickness.  And that's just within each set.  When you mix all four sets, you'll find that the Mini Units are half the size of the Units, which are half the size of the Mini Hollows...This modularity allows children to build stable wooden block structures combining all the sets.

Since wooden blocks are building tools, they need to be precise, and are we ever fussy! We measure our blocks to the nearest 1/100th of an inch. Accuracy is crucial to the math concepts your children are learning as well as to the stability of their wooden block structures.

We don't believe in sharp corners. These blocks are shaped till they are velvet-smooth, and all edges are evenly curved. Small architects should be able to recognize a Community Playthings wooden block with their eyes closed.
